Dedicated

On Saturday morning, April 14, several dozen attendees gathered to celebrate the dedication of the newly renovated Eric Metzler Photo Lab and Lighting Studio. Located on the lower level of Rush Hall, the new lab and studio feature both the equipment and the working environment to do justice to the legacy of perfectionism left behind by Metzler, the longtime photography teacher who retired from Idyllwild Arts Academy in 2013.

The renovation was generously funded by Mystral Echavarria, a graduate of the Academy as an InterArts major in 2005.
