Dominique was born and raised in Orange County, California, and received her BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis. As a participant in the University of California Education Abroad Program at the University of Lund in Sweden, she discovered international travel and foreign language as means for personal growth and subsequently developed a passion for cultural exchange. To this end, Dominique took steps to successfully introduce cultural exchange projects in schools where she taught English in Japan. She has worked abroad in various business disciplines in six countries for a decade, speaks Swedish & Spanish, and is learning Japanese. In addition to writing and architecture, Dominique enjoys soaking in natural hot springs, hiking, and camping in her free time.
