Mission: Changing lives through the transformative power of art.
Programs, Master Classes, Workshops, Lectures, Performance, Instructors: Successful Idyllwild Arts Summer & Auxiliary Programs are more than great, interesting or cutting-edge ideas. And while programs must be financially self-sustaining, revenue generation alone is not enough to make a proposal successful. Proposals must align with the Mission of Idyllwild Arts.
The ideal Idyllwild Arts Summer & Auxiliary Programs instructor is a practicing artist and an excellent educator who is highly skilled, well-known in her or his field, as well as insightful, articulate, generous, passionate, inspiring, innovative, thoughtful and possesses strong interpersonal skills. At Idyllwild Arts, we value both innovative and traditional artistic expression. Though Summer & Auxiliary Programs primarily are focused on processes and techniques, we value content and history for all media. Instructors also use all tools at their disposal to assist Idyllwild Arts’ efforts to recruit and enroll qualified participants. Programs must achieve revenue and enrollment goals, or are subject to cancellation.
